FEBRUARY EXPECTED TO BE POPULAR WEDDING MONTH IN WEDDING CAPITAL OF THE WORLD™
County Clerk’s Pop-Up Marriage License to Return to Harry Reid International Airport Feb. 13-29
Several Las Vegas Chapels Offering Exclusive Wedding Packages, Specials
With February featuring several “magic dates” in 2024, expectations are high for another busy month in the Wedding Capital of the World™. Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya will open a pop-up Marriage License Bureau at Harry Reid International Airport from Tuesday, Feb. 13 through Thursday, Feb. 29. In addition, several Las Vegas chapels are offering exclusive wedding packages and offers for couples in February, including $14 wedding ceremonies on Valentine’s Day.
Several popular dates contribute to February’s wedding excitement resulting in high bookings for Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, Feb. 14, as well as Leap Day on Thursday, Feb. 29. In addition, February features several rare numerical sequences, making them appealing dates for weddings, including Friday, February 2 (2/2/24); Sunday, February 4 (2/4/24); and Saturday, Feb. 24 (2/24/24).
February has been considered “Wedding Month” in the Wedding Capital of the World™ since February of 2022 when the clerk’s office issued its 5 millionth marriage license as alongside the celebration for Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022 (also known as ”twosday” 2/22/22) when 2,341 couples were married. Of course, Valentine’s Day is consistently one of the most popular dates of the year. In fact, of the topmost popular dates of all time in Las Vegas, 11 were on Valentine’s Day.
Located at Terminal 1 near baggage claim and open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 13 through Feb. 29, the pop-up marriage license bureau enables couples arriving at Harry Reid International Airport to skip going to the downtown office to obtain their marriage documents. The temporary office will issue marriage licenses and vow renewal certificates and will accept credit card or debit payments. February couples may also choose a limited-edition themed keepsake to take with them to the wedding ceremony.
To acknowledge these February “magic dates” several wedding venues are also offering special packages and offers. They include:
The Hitchin’ Post Wedding Chapel inside Circus Circus Las Vegas will offer $14 wedding ceremonies exclusively on Valentine’s Day. This offering includes a chapel ceremony, use of the venue’s silk florals and room for up to four invited guests. Packages can also be upgraded to include more guests, photography or videography. Availability is limited and reservations are filling up quickly.
For couples tying the knot in February, the Mon Bel Ami wedding chapel is offering 20% off all wedding packages, plus a complimentary bottle of champagne.
Paris Las Vegas invites couples to experience the Mon Amour Package at the Paris Wedding Chapel for their wedding, commitment ceremony or vow renewal. The package features a private bridal waiting area, wedding music performed by a professional pianist, an 18-rose bridal bouquet in red, groom’s boutonniere in red, a 30-minute professional photoshoot, three 5×7 inch photo prints, one 8×10 inch photo print, $90 photo credit, ceremony video with HD digital download, wedding garter, personal wedding coordination and a half dozen French macarons for the couple. The package is available daily for $1,199 throughout February. Venue surcharges may apply and taxes and the $75 cash minister’s fees are not included.
The Little Vegas Chapel will offer its “Heart to Get” package from Sunday, Feb. 11 through Sunday, Feb. 18. For $399 plus taxes and fees, the offering for up to 24 guests includes the Imperial Chapel ceremony performed by an officiant, custom wedding music, a fresh bouquet of six pink roses, matching boutonniere, professional photography, five digital images, two personal bundtlets, Valentine’s Day headband and glasses and officiated marriage license. The chapel will provide a witness (if needed) and camera phones permitted.
