228 Main Launches “Kid’s Cookie Corner,”

1228 Main, a neighborhood bakery and café by day and a restaurant and bar by night, located in the vibrant Las Vegas Arts District, has introduced a new family-friendly event, Kid’s Cookie Corner. Taking place from 10 to 11 a.m. every Saturday starting Oct. 5, this hands-on class will offer kids aged five and up the chance to bake and decorate their own cookies alongside Chef Noel, 1228 Main’s head baker.
A kid-friendly expansion of 1228 Main’s beloved bread-making classes, Kid’s Cookie Corner lets parents relax and enjoy a meal while their little ones dive into the world of baking. From rolling the dough to choosing fun toppings, kids will be able to create their own cookie masterpieces. This weekly event is free to attend and open exclusively to guests dining in with a reservation made in advance.
While their kids head into the kitchen, parents can kick off their weekend with delectable brunch and lunch bites such as the quiche lorraine featuring smoked ham, caramelized onion, gruyere cheese; croissant sandwich with riddled eggs, smoked bacon, tillamook cheddar and served with breakfast potatoes; Wagyu smash burger with fries; spicy steak tartare; and pot pie featuring chicken, black truffle and puff pastry made in-house. For the ultimate relaxation, guests can also enjoy a variety of flavorful cocktails and an array of wines and local brews.

Main St. in Downtown Las Vegas’ Arts District, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with a full-service bakery and coffee counter.
