Fall into Festivities at UnCommons

As fall rolls on, UnCommons, Southwest Las Vegas’ vibrant 40-acre urban campus across from the new Durango Casino & Resort, is gearing up for an action-packed end to October and a festive November with a variety of exciting events. From Día de los Muertos celebrations to luxury car showcases, UnCommons is the place to be for creative and community-driven experiences this season.

“Family Night Out,” hosted in partnership with the AAPI Chamber, will kick off at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, with activities celebrating local law enforcement and first responders. The event will feature interactive experiences like Halloween trick-or-treating stations, police and fire vehicle displays and live simulators. Families can enjoy bites from local food trucks and UnCommons’ restaurants, with special stage presentations and recognitions, including a community art contest led by Assemblyman Duy Nguyen.

Closing out October, Todo Bien will embrace the spooky spirit with its vibrant Día de los Muertos-inspired décor. Starting Monday, Oct. 28, guests can enjoy specialty cocktails featuring Dos Caras tequila and take home a festive “cantarito” cup with select drinks. This celebration will continue through Sunday, Nov. 3.

Looking ahead, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, Fast Lane Drive will bring over 30 luxury cars to UnCommons. This event is a must-attend for car enthusiasts looking to get up close to some of the most high-end vehicles in Las Vegas.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, Market in the Alley returns just in time for holiday gift giving season. The market offers a chance for guests to explore over 20 local vendors and creators and is a fun spot for finding unique, handmade goods while supporting local businesses.

Then, from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17, UnCommons will host Shameless Unplugged, the second day of the 4th annual Shameless Plug Arts Festival. This free event will feature interactive poetry and journaling workshops, open mic sessions, a featured artist panel and a market with local small businesses. It’s a fantastic way to connect with the local creative scene in a collaborative and supportive environment.
