Portion of Ticket Sales to Benefit Those in Need

 

Reckless In Vegas, the power trio whose utterly distinctive sound offers a Modern Twist on Vintage Vegas, announces Ante Up: a collaborative community give-back program created to connect Southern Nevada businesses with local charities. With its residency inside SAHARA Las Vegas officially launching on June 30, participating businesses can pledge to donate a dollar amount per each Reckless In Vegas ticket sold to a local charity.

Through the Ante Up program, businesses can select a local charity of their choice or support one of Reckless In Vegas’ partner charities (St. Jude’s Ranch for Children or Notoriety Gives) to provide crucial services to the area’s most vulnerable children.

As a Reckless In Vegas partner charity, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children transforms the lives of abused and at-risk children, young adults and families. The organization currently provides programs such as foster care services, homeless youth services, child sex trafficking services and other support services, including educational support, clinical services, job training, discharge services and post-secondary education scholarships.

Established in 2017 in response to the 1 October tragedy which occurred at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival, the band’s other partner, charity Notoriety Gives, commemorates the resiliency and compassion of the Las Vegas community and supports at-risk children and youth through the healing power of the arts. Providing access to all forms of the performing arts, Notoriety Gives empowers children to utilize their talents and skills through programs encompassing self-expression, creativity and confidence.

“With a portion of ticket sales going directly to local charities, we have the ability to create a substantial impact in the Southern Nevada community,” says Michael Shapiro, band founder, Reckless In Vegas. “Las Vegas is my hometown, and I cannot wait to see how much money we raise this year to serve those in need.”

Participating organizations make a one-month commitment of donating $3, $4 or $5 per Reckless In Vegas show ticket sold, including eight to 10 shows per month and up to 270 tickets per show. At the end of the month, Reckless In Vegas ticket sale numbers will be provided to the sponsor and the local business will write a check directly to the selected charity.
