 Southwest Las Vegas’ hip new dining destination, Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant at Durango Casino & Resort, will present a thrilling carnival brunch from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 6.

 

The carnival celebration will be highlighted by mesmerizing samba dancers, concheros, percussionists and live DJs, for an entertaining celebration paired with Mijo’s brunch cuisine, which showcases the diverse, tantalizing flavors of coastal Mexico presented through an unconventional lens.

Highlights from Mijo’s brunch menu include the Churro French toast, featuring brioche bread soaked in tres leches custard, topped with fresh strawberries, guava syrup and Bavarian cream, priced at $14; birria torta dip, a sandwich with shredded beef, crispy cheese and consommé served in a toasted Bolillo, priced at $22; and huevos Benedictinos, a twist on the classic eggs Benedict, featuring a fusion of seasoned ham, creamy avocado, poached eggs and a zesty chili hollandaise sauce, priced at $16. Refreshing brunch cocktails include bottomless mimosas, Aperol spritzes and micheladas, each priced at $24 with a two-hour limit.
