Grab a slice of “Pure Evel” at the All-American, one-of-a-kind pizzeria Evel Pie located in Downtown Las Vegas. Founded by hospitality group High Horse and operated in cooperation with Evel Knievel’s son Kelly, the new restaurant pays homage to the legendary motorcycle daredevil.
Evel Pie serves authentic, made-to-order New York-style pizza by the slice and whole baked pies, among other items. Guests can customize their pizzas with 18 different toppings or order from the Evel specialty menu, featuring the “Balls to the Wall” topped with Evel’s special homemade meatballs, Sunday gravy, mushrooms and onions; “Evel Pie’s Goblin Sausage” with spicy pepperoni, chorizo, Italian sausage and bacon; and “World Famous Snake River Special” featuring rattlesnake jalapeno sausage, onions, bell peppers and fresh garlic. Pair each pie with cheap All-American beers served in a can, bottle, glass, stein, pitcher, or even inside a helmet.
Inspired by classic American 1970s pizza shops, Evel Pie is decorated with Evel Knievel memorabilia, a life-size taxidermied bighorn sheep, a hand painted mural of Snake River Canyon, and an illuminated marquee sign bearing the restaurant’s motto, “Live Hard, Ride Fast, Eat Pizza.” In between slices, guests can try their luck on a vintage Evel Knievel-themed pinball machine and stunt cycle arcade game. For the daredevils, pop wheelies on the back patio on a custom adult-sized motorcycle ride while enjoying classic 70s rock, new wave and the roots of hip hop and punk.
Evel Pie is located at 508 East Fremont Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101 and is open Sunday – Thursday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Friday and Saturday – Sat. 11 a.m. – 4 a.m. For more information or to make a reservation, please visit evelpie.com or call 702.840.6460.
