The bustling mixed-use community in Southwest Las Vegas will debut 
a fresh new lineup of event programming and culinary offerings this month

With summer quickly approaching, UnCommons, the first-of-its-kind urban campus in Southwest Las Vegas, will celebrate June with poetry sessions, free smoothies, Father’s Day specials and more, along with its already-beloved recurring community events such as Market in the Alley and Wineaux’s wine tasting Wednesdays.

 

The complete schedule of June events at UnCommons is as follows:

 

Available Throughout June

  • At General Admission, fans can cheer on Vegas’ hometown women’s basketball team for a chance to win tickets and merch. During all regular season games, fans may enter a monthly raffle to win a team jersey and follow @generaladmission.lv for a chance to win home game tickets. With each specialty cocktail ordered during games, guests will receive one raffle ticket for the monthly jersey giveaway.  Each raffle will be drawn during the final game of the month. Fans can also get in on the action by participating in General Admission’s social media contests to win tickets to home games. Guests can enter by following General Admission on Instagram, liking a post, commenting and tagging two friends. The winner will receive three tickets to an upcoming home game.
  • From Saturday, June 1 to Monday, June 27, Salt & Straw will delight taste buds with a flight of beer-based ice creams, the Brewer Series, featuring favorites from Seattle, Portland, Santa Rosa, Los Angeles and Miami-based microbreweries. Guests can enjoy choices such as Breakside’s Barrel-Aged Chocolate Stout, intense, stout-soaked cocoa nib ice cream and stout tres leches cake; Russian River’s Supplication Ale with Manchego, dark Supplication ale fudge swirled with Manchego cheese and tart cherry marmalade; and more.
  • Salt & Straw is now serving its evergreen ice cream cake, “The Cake” made with layers of yellow cake flecked with all the colors of the rainbow, plus Salt & Straw’s Double Fold Vanilla ice cream swirled with ribbons of juicy Oregon blackberry jam, a tangy cream cheese frosting and sprinkles.

Weekly Events

  • Summer Melodies
    • Every Friday and Saturday, from 6 to 8 p.m., guests can enjoy live music from local artists in The Quad, UnCommons’ central courtyard. Musical talent will be announced each week on UnCommons’ website.
  • Market in the Alley
    • From 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, UnCommons will host Market in the Alley in The Quad, the monthly event supporting over 20 local vendors and creators.
  • Brunch & Good Vibes
    • Every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., The Sundry, a distinctive food hall experience at UnCommons, presents “Brunch & Good Vibes” featuring live music, brunch bites and bloody marys, courtesy of Diane Mina from Diane’s Bloody Mary Bar.
  • The Wineaux Club
    • Wineauxwine market, bar and escape, now offers its own wine club. Each month, the Wineaux Club takes guests on a tasteful adventure with two subscription options, featuring new discoveries and a prestigious selection. Those who are interested can sign up on Wineaux’s website.
  • Wineaux Wine Tasting
    • From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, June 5 and Wednesday, June 19, Wineaux will offer wine tastings at their communal wine table. Tastings include three 3-ounce pours of wines from different regions each week, along with light snacks. Reservations are suggested and can be made here for June 5 and here for June 19.

Special Events

 

  • Fast Lane Drive: Friday, June 7
    • From 6 to 9 p.m., Fast Lane Drive will host Fast Friday, the ultimate automotive experience featuring a collection of over 30 luxury cars on display.
  • Bloom Bar: Wednesday, June 5 and Saturday, June 15
    • From 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5 and 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, Bloom Bar Las Vegas will have a mobile flower shop with fresh flower bouquets for sale in The Quad.
  • Father’s Day: Sunday, June 16
    • General Admission is celebrating Father’s Day by offering a complimentary drink to all dads. The drink can be a free draft beer, glass of wine or specialty cocktail from its extensive menu featuring two dozen draft beers, a dozen wines and over 200 spirits.
  • National Smoothie Day: Friday, June 21
    • Starting at 8 a.m., SunLife Organics will be giving away the first 100 smoothies.
  • Beyond the Neon Poetry: Sunday, June 2; Sunday, June 16; Sunday, June 30
    • Local poetry organization Beyond the Neon Poetry will host “Sunday Sessions” in The Quad. June 2nd will feature “PRIDE Night with Cosmic Q,” and June 16th will feature “Juneteenth Jubilee.” All evenings will have a featured poetry reading and an open mic session from 6 to 8 p.m.
