Eight Lounge and Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge
at Resorts World Las Vegas Announce August Events
Clique Hospitality has announced August hours and events for Eight Lounge and Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge at Resorts World Las Vegas. Monthly offerings include a swim week kickoff party, a movie night at Eight Lounge, and a birthday bash and Carrie Underwood celebration at Gatsby’s.
Eight Lounge
The lounge is open from 4 p.m. to close Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. to close on Saturday and Sunday.
Humidor is open daily from 11 a.m. to close.
Eight, a lush cigar and cocktail lounge at Resorts World, takes its name from the lucky number in Chinese culture. The number eight is incorporated throughout the 7,000-square-foot space featuring a custom-built walk-in humidor and 2,200-square-foot terrace. Named “Best Cigar Shop” back-to-back in Las Vegas Weekly’s 2023 and 2024 “Best of Vegas” awards and “Best Cigar Lounge” by VEGAS Magazine’s 2023 “Best of the City” awards, Eight offers more than 150 cigars from Drew Estate, Arturo Fuente and Ashton, along with an ever-changing rotation of other top-notch cigars. Eight also offers premium cocktails crafted by mixologists well-versed in the flavor profiles of premium tobaccos to expertly pair premium cigars with spirits and craft cocktails. The venue’s 2,200-square-foot outdoor terrace will light up the summer nights with live performances by the energetic Puro Vicente and the Space to Pace band starting at 8 p.m. Guests are encouraged to dance along, led by a professional instructor who teaches the spirited steps of traditional Cuban dances such as the Cha-Cha-Cha, the Salsa and the Mambo, starting at 9 p.m. Between live sets from the band, guests can enjoy a sizzling mix of Latin and top 40 hits spun by the lounge’s DJ, ensuring the energy stays high and the dance floor stays packed throughout the night.
- Sticks & Flicks, “White Men Can’t Jump”: Wednesday, Aug. 28

- Join Eight Lounge for a night of fine cigars and top-notch comedy with August’s “Sticks and Flicks” movie night showing of 1992’s White Men Can’t Jump. Doors open at 8 p.m., and starting at 9 p.m., guests can enjoy complimentary popcorn and candy alongside a limited-time themed specialty cocktail menu while watching the movie on any of the venue’s HD TVs. Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge

Raising the bar and bringing the bubbles at luxury destination Resorts World, Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge is an upscale escape offering a cache of vintage and rare champagnes, vivid artisanal cocktails and aromatic wines. Located in the heart of the resort, the chic cocktail bar was recently awarded “Best Cocktail Presentation” in Las Vegas Weekly’s 2024 “Best of Vegas” awards and offers a 360-degree bar with thoughtfully cultivated soundtracks, including DJ sets and live music. - Starting at 10 p.m., country fans can join Gatsby’s in celebration of country music superstar Carrie Underwood’s Resorts World residency with Wednesdays bedecked and bedazzled with rhinestones and deep-blue denim, with country sounds provided by country dance party starter DJ Pump. Same-day ticket holders to Underwood’s show will receive a welcome drink when visiting Gatsby’s. The lounge’s menu will feature a variety of limited-time-only libations, including the Pink Champagne, the Stiff Drink Paloma, the Smoke Break Old Fashioned and Carrie’s Wine Special.

- Starting at 10 p.m., Gatsby’s presents a celebration of the cosmos with a party dedicated to each Zodiac sign on the first Thursday of the sign’s date range. This month, the lounge prepares to celebrate with those intellectual and particular Virgos. Those born in the Virgo cycle will receive a complimentary custom star sign necklace and welcome cocktail.
