Early Birds, A Breakfast Spot to Host Month-Long Pop-Up at La Neta Cocina y Lounge Through December
The Southwest’s hottest breakfast, brunch and lunch spot is headed to Summerlin this December. Located at 1770 Festival Plaza Dr, La Neta Cocina y Lounge will host an exciting month-long takeover by Early Birds, A Breakfast Spot, both part of the 81/82 Group family. Kicking off Sunday, Dec. 1 and continuing every Sunday throughout the month from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., La Neta and Early Birds will transform Sunday mornings into a breakfast paradise.
“To me, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, which is why I opened Early Birds back in April,” said Ryan Labbe, founder and CEO of 81/82 Group. “I wanted to create an easy, go-to spot to share with my neighbors in the Southwest and now I’m excited to bring our delicious and approachable breakfast and brunch offerings to the Summerlin community. Hosting this pop-up at La Neta makes it even more special, and who knows, if the residents of Summerlin take to this pop-up, there’s a chance they might see Early Birds in the neighborhood permanently in the future.”
Known for its nostalgic breakfast vibes, Early Birds will bring its creatively crafted sweet and savory dishes to La Neta. In addition to its pancakes, waffles and French toast, and classics like chicken and waffles, avocado toast and breakfast burritos, the pop-up menu will include Early Birds’ signature dishes like the Bodega Bagel, made with pork roll, American cheese and hashbrowns served on an everything bagel, and the Breakfast Fried Rice, made with scrambled eggs and bacon topped with one egg any way, as well as its cherished omelets, skillets, benedicts and “between-the-bun” options including:
- Omelets
- “The Bear,” made with herbed cheese, potato chip and chive
- Jalap-eno Business, made with chicken, cheddar cheese, jalapeño, pico de gallo and avocado
- Skillets
- Steak & potatoes, made with two eggs any way, strip steak, potatoes, cheddar cheese, bell peppers, onions and romesco

- Hot honey chicken sandwich, made with cornflake fried chicken, bleu cheese slaw, pickle chips and hot honey on a potato bun
- Double smash burger, made with two smashed beef patties, American cheese, grilled onions, pickle chips and secret sauce on a potato bun
Since Early Birds and La Neta both believe that no breakfast or brunch is complete without boozy beverages, guests can enjoy a selection of cocktails, like spiked coffees, Bloody Marys or Marias, beermosas, Micheladas and a mimosa bar, alongside signature creations, such as:
- The Bird Bath made with rum, coconut cream, blue Curacao and pineapple juice
- Hair of the Dog made with Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA, grapefruit juice, lime and agave
- Cereal Cocktail, a nostalgic taste with an adult twist made with real cereal milk

From the design to its food and beverage offerings, the restaurant removes guests from their reality and immerses them in theirs. La Neta Cocina y Lounge bridges classic Mexican fare, including flautas and enchiladas made with housemade tortillas, with inventive creations, such as shareable Birria Beef & Cheese made with bone-in short rib and consommé; and the smashable chocolate heart-shaped piñata dessert. La Neta’s beverage program is equally impressive with signature margaritas on tap and carefully handcrafted cocktails.
