DURAND JONES & THE INDICATIONS TO RING IN 2023 WITH A SOULFUL NEW YEAR’S EVE PERFORMANCE AT BROOKLYN BOWL LAS VEGAS
Major player in the soul revivalist movement Durand Jones & The Indications is returning to The Bowl for an exclusive New Year’s Eve performance on Saturday, Dec. 31. Following their sold-out Brooklyn Bowl debut earlier this year, the R&B band is back for an encore performance bringing good vibes only into 2023 with their signature, boundary-pushing sound.
Equally beloved for their energetic, joyous shows, dual lead singers and thoughtful songwriting, the concept of Durand Jones & The Indications was birthed in an Indiana basement (where the band recorded their 2016 self-titled debut LP as college students), and since has catapulted into the soul limelight and onto an international stage. Pushing beyond the boundaries of the funk and soul on their previous releases, The Indications’ latest album Private Space unlocks the door to a wider range of sounds and launches boldly into a world of synthy modern soul and disco beats dotted with strings. Anchored by a crate-digging sensibility and the high-low harmonies of Aaron Frazer and Durand Jones, Private Space shows The Indications’ mastery at melding revival sounds with a modern attitude. It’s an organic, timeless record that’s as fresh as clean kicks and familiar as your favorite well-worn LP.
General admission tickets will be available starting at $45 and will be available online Friday, August 19 at 10 a.m. PST with presales available on Thursday, August 18 at 10 a.m. PST. A limited number of bowling lanes will be available for advanced purchase; any lanes remaining the night of show will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. All bowling lanes come with a food and beverage minimum.
With the health and safety of guests a top priority, all Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas patrons are required to present either proof of COVID-19 vaccination, with their final dose at least 14 days prior to the show, or proof of negative test obtained 72 hours prior to the show, in order to enter the venue.
