DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS’ NEWEST RESTAURANT, GLUTTON, TO PARTICIPATE IN ITS FIRST RESTAURANT WEEK

This year marks the debut of Downtown Las Vegas’ Glutton, which will participate in its first Restaurant Week, taking place June 15 through 26. Created exclusively to benefit Three Square Food Bank, the city’s newest dining sensation will be offering dinner for $40.15 per person. A portion of each meal sold during Restaurant Week will be donated to Three Square to help in its fight to end hunger in Southern Nevada.

Glutton’s multi-course dinner begins with tomato & melon salad with ricotta salata and hazelnuts, topped with basil vanilla vinaigrette. Next are two new guest favorites: wood roasted octopus with white bean puree, local greens, Kalamata olives and lamb crepinettes with cucumber mint yogurt, tomato jam and pistachios. The meal concludes with wood oven crostata with red wine braised cherries and toasted almond ice-cream.

“Even before we opened, we knew giving back to the community would be one of our main objectives for our restaurant. Restaurant Week is one of the first events we will be participating in with Glutton, and we’re looking forward to it being the first of many more years to come,” says Chef Joseph Kudrak, co-owner, Glutton.

ABOUT GLUTTON
With a heartfelt passion for savoring life’s flavor drives, Glutton features an eclectic, adventurous menu of New American cuisine for lunch and dinner daily. Located on Carson Avenue, across 7th Street from Downtown Container Park, Glutton showcases savory meats, locally sourced produce, house-made pastas and seafood from the Pacific Northwest. Dishes are designed to range from sinfully indulgent to surprisingly fresh and light. The vibrant bar program features barrel-aged cocktails, as well as six craft beers on draft and a variety of beers and ciders served in cans and bottles. A thoughtful wine list offers bottles as well as many options for wine-by-the-glass. Glutton is housed in a renovated midcentury building and maintains the original oak ceiling from its original 1955 construction. Stained concrete floors, exposed brick, a wood-burning over and a solid stone chef’s counter combine to create an industrial yet comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant seats approximately 78 patrons indoors and an additional 35 on an outdoor patio, where guests can dine among the fresh herbs. Dinner begins nightly at 5 p.m.; lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with brunch available on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, visit www.GluttonLV.com, like it on Facebook, follow it on Twitter or Instagram @gluttonlv or call (702) 366-0623.

ABOUT LAS VEGAS RESTAURANT WEEK AND THREE SQUARE
Las Vegas Restaurant Week began in 2007 as a way to give locals and tourists the opportunity to help out by dining out. 2015 marks the ninth year of Las Vegas Restaurant Week, which features a variety of fine dining experiences throughout the Valley. Proceeds from Restaurant Week benefit Three Square, Southern Nevada’s only food bank. Three Square currently provides more than 34 million pounds of food and grocery product – the equivalent of more than 28 million meals – per year to more than 1,300 community partners including non-profit and faith-based organizations, schools and feeding sites throughout Southern Nevada. Three Square is a member of the Feeding America network of food banks. For additional information visit www.threesquare.org or www.helpoutdineoutlv.org.
