DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS’ NEWEST RESTAURANT, GLUTTON LAUNCHES “THE BOOZY BRUNCH”

 No need to eat a boring weekend brunch now that Downtown Las Vegas’ newest restaurant, Glutton is launching “The Boozy Brunch.” Offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Las Vegas’ newest dining hotspot offers a tempting menu of inventive brunch dishes and festive drinks sure to motivate even the sleepiest head to get up and their day in a delicious way.

From the Pastry Case, enjoy Cinnamon Buns with vanilla cream cheese frosting and Vietnamese cinnamon; Coffee and Donuts, featuring house made French crullers and espresso crème; freshly baked Croissants with seasonal jam. 

Starters include the restaurant’s popular Spicy Pork Rinds with cayenne and cheddar; Salmon Chips with pastrami cured salmon, tomato caper relish, cracked mustard cream cheese and red onion; Greek Yogurt Panna Cotta with cider-infused berries and granola; Uni Toast, with soft scrambled eggs, garlic butter, caviar and chives; and Chilled Buckwheat Soba Noodles, with yuzu and white soy dressing, cucumber and radish.

A selection of hearty Plates includes Yeast Risen Pancakes, served with cultured butter and maple cider syrup; Steak and Eggs, a kalbi marinated ribeye with kim chee fried rice and poached egg; Egg White Frittata with marinated tomatoes, burrata, basil and balsamic reduction; Baked Tomatoes and Eggs with tomato and piquillo pepper sauce, two eggs, parmesan, Tuscan kale and grilled ciabatta; Wood Roasted Chicken Hash with poached eggs, potatoes, peppers and sweet onion; Benedict with braised pork cheek, poached eggs, crispy speck, focaccia, roasted garlic Hollandaise; Shrimp Scampi Omelet with garlic spinach, tomatoes and scampi butter; Straight Up Breakfast Plate with eggs, bacon or sausage, duck fat potatoes and Texas Toast; Proper Breakfast Sandwich with house made sausage, caramelized onions, soft scrambled eggs, spicy bacon mayo, cheddar and duck fat potatoes; Breakfast Salad with wild greens, bacon, soft poached egg, duck fat potatoes and green goddess dressing; Chicken Salad Sandwich with roasted chicken, bacon, pickled tomatoes, gem lettuce and cranberry grain bread; and Charcuterie Panini with finocchiona salumi, bresaola, cappicola, Manchego cheese and fig preserves.

Available Sides include bacon, sausage, duck fat potatoes, two eggs and Texas toast.

And now for the “Boozy” part of brunch: Glutton offers selection of unique cocktails and Crispin Ciders to complement guests’ leisurely weekend meal. Brunch Cocktails include Pappes Peaches with Bulleit bourbon, Giffard crème de peche, honey, lemon and basil; Glutton Mary with kimchi bloody mary, American Harvest Vodka, shrimp, pickled mushrooms, celery and Togarashi chili; Improved Mule with Stoli Ohranj, mulberry vinegar, fresh lime, ginger beer; Peach Bellini with Martini & Rossi Prosecco, peach shrub and lemon; Aquavito with Krogstad aquavit, agave, lime and mint; Fremont Flip with Don Q white rum, St. George spiced pear liqueur; egg white and cardamom; Morningshade with chilled coffee, tequila, milk, cinnamon, orange and vanilla; Evans Colors, with American Harvest vodka, cucumber, basil, blueberries and lemon.

ABOUT GLUTTON
With a heartfelt passion for savoring life’s flavor drives, Glutton features an eclectic, adventurous menu of New American cuisine for lunch and dinner daily. Located on Carson Avenue, across 7th Street from Downtown Container Park, Glutton showcases savory meats, locally sourced produce, house-made pastas and seafood from the Pacific Northwest. Dishes are designed to range from sinfully indulgent to surprisingly fresh and light. The vibrant bar program features barrel-aged cocktails, as well as six craft beers on draft and a variety of beers and ciders served in cans and bottles. A thoughtful wine list offers bottles as well as many options for wine-by-the-glass. Glutton is housed in a renovated midcentury building and maintains the original oak ceiling from its original 1955 construction. Stained concrete floors, exposed brick, a wood-burning over and a solid stone chef’s counter combine to create an industrial yet comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant seats approximately 78 patrons indoors and an additional 25 on an outdoor patio, where guests can dine among the fresh herbs.
