Their latest powerhouse album, Sirens, includes a number of instant summer hits like “House Party,” with a groove that transports listeners within the first few notes, and “Been Losing Sleep,” featuring an instantly memorable reggae tone.
Since their humble beginnings in 1988, the Long Beach band amassed a cult following and boasted radio hits with songs such as “What I Got,” “Santeria” and “Wrong Way.” In 2009, original members Eric Wilson (bassist) and Bud Gaugh (drummer) began playing with Rome Ramirez, who took over the vocalist spot for the late Bradley Nowell.
