Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria & Bar Hosts Firefighters vs. Police Pizza Challenge in Honor of National Pizza Month
What better way to kick off National Pizza Month in October than with a pizza challenge? Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria & Bar is hosting a benefit Pizza Challenge with local firefighters and police. The Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation and Friends of Las Vegas Metro Police Foundation have each created a signature pizza that will be featured on the Dom DeMarco’s menu throughout the entire month.
When someone purchases one of the non-profit’s signature pizzas a portion of the sale will be donated to each organization. At then end of the month, the organization with the highest pizza sales will receive an additional 10% donation in addition to the amount raised from Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria & Bar.
The Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation created The Parmesan Red Hot pizza which is a spicy, buffalo chicken pie that contains grilled parmesan crusted chicken, ranch, parmesan, mozzarella and blue cheese crumbles topped with red onions and drizzled with Frank’sÒ Red HotÒ sauce.
Friends of Las Vegas Metro Police Foundation created the Five-0 Meatza Pizza which is a meat lover’s dream that includes pepperoni slices, Dom’s signature Italian sausage, red onions, basil, mozzarella and grana padano cheeses and tangy marinara sauce.
“Anything we can do to give back to our local law enforcement and firefighters is important to us,” said Albert Scalleat, partner of Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria & Bar. “This pizza challenge is a fun and exciting way to raise money for two wonderful organizations. We look forward to seeing which organization’s pizza will be the best seller.”
Each 18” Large round will sell for $25 with $5 going directly to the non-profit whose pizza was purchased. Each 12” Small round will sell for $17 with $3 going directly to the corresponding non-profit.
