Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria & Bar Offering a New York Cheese Pizza
for 75 Cents
On May 18, Celebrate National Pizza Party Day with Original 1964 Price
To celebrate National Pizza Party Day, Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria & Bar is going back to the beginning and offering a pizza for 75 cents. From 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 18, guests can enjoy a small New York Cheese Pizza for the original price of a pizza when famed pizzaiolo Domenico DeMarco opened the first DiFara Pizzeria in New York City in 1964.
“When Dom DeMarco opened the first DiFara Pizza in 1964 his dream was to offer delicious pizzas made with the highest quality ingredients in a friendly atmosphere and his mission remains true today at Dom’s,” said Albert Scalleat, partner of Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria & Bar. “We are paying tribute to his passion and dream, serving homemade pies, created the same way Dom has for the last half century from scratch, with love and discipline.”
From 11 a.m. to noon, guests can enjoy a hand-tossed 12-inch round New York Cheese Pizza made with hand crushed San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella and Grana Padano cheeses, topped with fresh basil and extra virgin olive oil imported from Italy.
Restrictions include: one 75-cent pizza per check, must be seated by noon, not available with to-go or curbside service. Additional toppings are available at regular price.
