Country Icon Darius Rucker to Headline the Grand Bash at the 25th Annual Governor’s Black Tie, Supporting Eight Local Nonprofits
The Olympia Companies Charitable Foundation (OCCF) is proud to announce that Grammy-winning artist and country music legend Darius Rucker will take center stage during the 25th Annual Governor’s Black Tie charity event, scheduled for April 9–12, 2025. Since its inception, this prestigious event has been championed by the Governor of Nevada and has become the state’s premier fundraiser, benefiting eight local nonprofits annually. Over the past 25 years, OCCF has raised and donated more than $28 million to improve the lives of Southern Nevada’s most vulnerable communities.
The milestone celebration begins on Wednesday, April 9, with an exciting kickoff party and continues with the highly anticipated Grand Bash on Thursday, April 10, featuring an exclusive concert by GRAMMY Award-winning singer, Darius Rucker. Guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening with a live auction, a strolling dinner showcasing culinary masterpieces from M Resort Spa & Casino, and top-tier entertainment. The four-day event also features a three-day invitational golf tournament at the award-winning Southern Highlands Golf Club. On Friday evening, attendees will don formal attire for a black-tie reception and plated dinner, concluding with a stunning 10-minute fireworks display over the course. The festivities wrap up on Saturday, April 12, with the First Lady’s Luncheon hosted by Nevada’s First Lady, Donna Lombardo. This event promises an afternoon of luxury shopping pop-ups, delicious food and drinks, and engaging entertainment.
