Country Music Icons Montgomery Gentry and Charlie Daniels Band to Take the Stage at Orleans Arena on December 14
As part of Boyd Gaming’s Wrangler National Finals Rodeo entertainment line-up, the Orleans Arena welcomes country music superstars Montgomery Gentry and The Charlie Daniels Band on December 14.
Award-winning duo Montgomery Gentry began musical career together in 1999, receiving nominations of “Top Vocal Duo” from the Country Music Association, the Academy of Country Music and the Grammy Awards, and was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2009. Montgomery Gentry boasts fourteen Top 10 singles, including favorites “Something To Be Proud Of,” “If You Ever Stop Loving Me,” “Lucky Man,” “Back When I Knew It All” and “Roll With Me.” The duo will perform hits from their new album, “Rebel on the Run,” alongside their original fan favorites.
The Charlie Daniels Band, whose long career spans four decades, will open the show. Daniels himself has attained many accomplishments, including induction into the Grand Ole Opry, multiplatinum albums, and numerous awards from the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music. The band is known for the signature tune “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” along with “Uneasy Rider,” “Long-Haired Country Boy” and “The South’s Gonna Do It Again.”
