Meatball Hero, Rolls into Downtown Las Vegas

Corner Bar Management, the creators behind some of Downtown Las Vegas’ most imaginative destinations, has added a new on-the-go, late-night food truck, Meatball Hero, to its ever-evolving portfolio of bars, restaurants and nightclubs in Fremont East.

Now open, the go-to, on-the-go gourmet gastro-truck serves freshly made, Italian-inspired sandwiches from a swanky, renovated 1954 International Siler Dome trailer framed by potted palms and foliage. Built with walkability in mind, Meatball Hero caters to guests perusing Fremont East and looking for a quick bite between watering holes, thrift shopping and shows.

“We’re excited to provide a new downtown destination that’s convenient and delicious for anyone needing a bite in between bar hopping or when leaving the club late at night,” says Corner Bar Management Founder Ryan Doherty. “Meatball Hero hits the spot with Italian sandwiches that are filling, affordable and efficient when you’re short on time.”

Curated by Executive Chef Daniel Arias, who is also at the helm of La Mona Rosa, the menu features a variety of the hearty Italian specialty subs. Offerings include The Hero, with three savory meatballs, provolone, mozzarella, basil garlic sauce and parmesan cheese nestled in a country-style hoagie roll; Great Balls of Fire, three spicy meatballs topped with ricotta cheese, garlic basil sauce and Calabrian chiles in a hoagie roll; Impossible Italiano, with vegan Impossible meatballs, Di Napoli tomato sauce, vegan mozzarella and roasted garlic basil sauce on a bun; Mini Hero, a juicy meatball slider covered in Di Napoli San Mazano tomato sauce, provolone, mozzarella, Parmesan and roasted garlic and basil sauce served on a soft dinner roll; and the Ballin’, three savory meatballs topped with creamy burrata cheese and pesto nestled in a garlic bread hoagie. All sandwiches are priced at $12 and a single slider is $5.

Meatball Hero also serves a selection of beverages, including lemon, orange and blood orange San Pellegrino, Mexican Coke and water, that are each available for $4. Guests can enjoy beverages and sandwiches at Meatball Hero’s outdoor seating, or enjoy it with a beer or cocktails inside Park on Fremont, which adjacently located at 506 East Fremont St.

Meatball Hero is open from 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays, as well as from 9 p.m. – 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
