CORE Presents First-Ever “Jingle in July” Fundraiser and Ugly Holiday Sweater Fashion Show at The Beverly Theater

Local education nonprofit CORE is turning up the holiday spirit—just a little early—with the debut of its first-ever Jingle in July event on Thursday, July 10 at 6 p.m. at Las Vegas’ first and only indie film house, The Beverly Theater in Downtown Las Vegas (515 S. 6th Street, Las Vegas).
This festive summer celebration promises an evening of cool winter fun to support an important cause. Attendees will enjoy:

  • An Ugly Holiday Sweater Fashion Show—featuring handcrafted designs by CORE Scholars and judged by celebrity guests
  • Holiday-themed cocktails and a delicious dinner
  • A chance to merrily shop from an exclusive collection of auction items and CORE’s designer line of ugly holiday sweaters

All proceeds from Jingle in July will help CORE get a head start on fundraising for the 2025-2026 school year, ensuring the nonprofit can continue supporting hundreds of Scholars and their families through critical academic, attendance, and social-emotional programming. Individual tickets are $50 ($85 for a pair), and Sponsorships ranging from $500 – $5,000 are now available here.

“We are thrilled to launch our first-ever Jingle in July as a fun and festive way to kick-start our holiday fundraising,” said CORE Executive Director Jeff Jones. “This event isn’t just about holiday cheer—it’s about ensuring our Scholars and their families have the resources and support they need to thrive. At CORE, we believe long-term investment in students and their families is the most powerful path to equity and economic mobility. “Last year, we supported over 400 Scholars at four schools, providing them the resources they need to succeed at every stage of their educational journey and beyond. The generosity of our supporters allows us to continue that impact—and this year, we’re starting even earlier.”

CORE’s mission is rooted in the belief that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of background or circumstance. Through its holistic, two-generational approach, the non-profit helps historically underserved students and their families achieve economic mobility and long-term success.

CORE’s work is especially impactful in North Las Vegas, where its Scholars have consistently demonstrated higher GPAs, improved grade promotion rates, increased high school graduation, and higher post-secondary enrollment. In addition to student-focused support, CORE also partners with families to meet essential needs and ensure lasting progress.
