Code Ninjas® Summerlin Celebrates 2nd Anniversary with Open House on March 14
Las Vegas Parents & Tech-Loving Kids Invited to Learn About Summer Camp Offerings
Code Ninjas Summerlin is celebrating their second anniversary on Sunday, March 14, with an open house event designed to celebrate with the community while offering Las Vegas families a preview of the location’s Summer Camp offerings.
At Code Ninjas centers, kids learn to code while building their own video games. They gain problem solving, critical thinking, and STEM skills in a fun, safe, and inspiring environment. The week-long Summer Camp led by Code Senseis® (instructors), will guide kids through a variety of challenges and activities, including creating their own video games and building an actual robot.
The Open House will take place on Sunday, March 14 from 2-5pm. In order to maintain a safe environment, interested attendees must reserve their appointment time by visiting https://bit.ly/2Of9IRL or calling Code Ninjas Summerlin at 702-518-0116. Visitors to the Open House will learn about Summer Camps through various demo stations that will show families what kids will learn and experience. There will also be a raffle for a free Summer Camp and various other prizes, and light refreshments will be available.
“We are looking forward to celebrating our 2nd anniversary alongside our community, and welcome guests to our Open House event to give parents and kids curious about programs an opportunity to learn about our game-based, martial arts inspired curriculum,” says Don Kang, owner and director of Code Ninjas Summerlin. “We look forward to showcasing the ways our center is preparing kids for the future.”
In addition to Summer Camps, Code Ninjas centers in Summerlin and Centennial Hills continue to offer a variety of programs on weekdays and weekends for kids ages 5-14. Through hands-on learning, children learn how to code by building and designing their own video games with the help of games they love such as Minecraft and Roblox, storytelling and learning Javascript.
In keeping with their commitment to provide a safe environment, Code Ninjas has implemented the following health and safety measures; reduced room capacities to allow for social distancing, increased regularity of sanitation of high traffic areas and equipment, face coverings required for all employees and visitors and hand sanitation stations are available throughout the facility.
