CIRQUE DU SOLEIL ARTISTS PRESENT “CLOWNS AFTER MIDNIGHT” A COMEDY PERFORMANCE HOSTED AT VEGAS THEATRE HUB APRIL 4, 6, 7 & 8

Clowns After Midnight, a comedy presentation, will showcase 11 Cirque du Soleil artists performing 13 acts created during a seven-day workshop series led by Zumanity by Cirque du Soleil performer Shannan Calcutt. The show will be hosted at the Vegas Theatre Hub with tickets available for $10 at VegasTheatreHub.com.

Calcutt’s series, dubbed “Make ‘em Laugh,” is offered exclusively to Cirque performers and allows creativity and hysteria to flow as the performers create through improvisation, play and writing. The sessions challenged the artists and acrobats to get out of their comfort zones while trying their hand at a new discipline. Calcutt describes the show as “Saturday Night Live with Clowns” and notes that creating so much material in just seven days required the artists to tap into their imaginations as they shaped each act from spontaneous humor.

Doors will open at 11:59 p.m. for the below show dates:

  • Wednesday, April 4
  • Friday, April 6
  • Saturday, April 7

On Sunday, April 8 patrons in the mood for bubbly and giggles can join the clowns on a party bus to the performance. Guests will be picked up at noon at The Orleans and enjoy a hysterical ride to the theater while they sip champagne. Audience members will be invited to stay for an intimate talk with the cast following the show before hopping back on the party bus to return to The Orleans by 2:30 p.m. For more information about Cirque du Soleil, please go to www.cirquedusoleil.com.
