CIRCA SURVIVOR OFFICIALLY PASSES 10 MILLION IN PRIZE MONEY

Circa Million VI Still Faces Overlay With Five Days Left To Sign Up

Sign-ups End at 2 p.m. PT on Saturday, Sept. 7

On Monday morning, Circa Sports’ professional football contest, Circa Survivor, received 10,000 entries, hitting the guarantee and ensuring that Circa Survivor would have more than 10 million in prize payouts.

Last year’s record-setting Circa Survivor contest guaranteed eight million. However, with 9,267 entries, the prize pool ended up being a then-record 9.267 million dollars. Derek Stevens and Circa Sports raised the stakes this year guaranteeing 10 million dollars. Now that the guarantee has been surpassed, every entry from here will increase the total prize pool and the eventual record-setting total prize will be known after the 2 p.m. deadline on Saturday, September 7.

Meanwhile, with six days before the deadline there is still an overlay in Circa Million VI. As of Monday morning, there were 4,210 entries, short of the 6,000 needed to reach the 6 million dollar guarantee. The overlay looks likely meaning that Circa Sports will be adding to the prize money giving every entry a higher expected value.

All contest entrants for both Circa Survivor and Circa Million VI have until 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 7 to sign up in-person at a Circa Sports location in Nevada.

Details on this year’s Circa Million VI and Circa Survivor contests are below:

Circa Million VI

Circa Million VI boasts 126 different ways to win throughout the season with $6 million guaranteed in total prizes. First place will take home $1 million and a coveted Circa Sports blue jacket. The contest is no rake, and any extra fees go into the quarter- and full-season prize pools.

Additional ways to win include placing in the top 100. $3.65 million will be allocated amongst places two through 100 at the end of the season. Every four to five weeks $300,000 in prizes will be awarded to the top five. The full season last place booby prize winner will receive $100,000 and second to last place booby prize winner will receive $50,000.

Each player will make five picks against the spread each week via the Circa Sports Nevada mobile app, a Circa Sports kiosk or over the counter at any of the six Circa Sports locations in Nevada. One point will be awarded for each correct selection and one-half point for each push. Each entry for Circa Million VI is $1,000, with a maximum of five entries per person. All entrants will receive a Circa Million VI hat.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 100 places for the season, the top five places within each quarter of the season, the last place and second last place full season score and the last place score within each quarter of the season.

Contest point spreads will be posted every Thursday around 10 a.m. PST, with selections due by 4 p.m. Saturday. During Thanksgiving week, point spreads will be posted at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Circa Survivor

The Circa Survivor contest winner will win $10 million guaranteed, plus more if entries exceed this amount.

Circa Survivor will consist of up to 20 legs throughout the year, one for every week of the football season plus two special holiday weeks. Each week, participants will choose a team to win straight up, but the player cannot pick the same team twice for the duration of the season. Thanksgiving + Black Friday and the Christmas leg (Wednesday/Thursday games) will each be considered their own contest weeks.

Entries are $1,000 each, with a maximum of 10 entries per participant. An entrant can purchase additional entries if they lose their original entries on the opening Thursday night or Friday night games. All entrants will receive a Circa Survivor 2024 hat.

Entries are eliminated from the contest by selecting a team that subsequently loses or ties its game that week. If more than one entry remains after 20 legs, the pool will be split equally amongst all the entries that successfully submitted a selection during the leg. An entrant cannot go into the Saturday deadline with more than ten active entries. Each team can only be selected once each entry during the contest season.

During the season, picks are due at 4 p.m. PST every Saturday or before kickoff or the selected games. For Thanksgiving and Black Friday, picks are due by 10 p.m. PST the preceding Wednesday night. For Christmas, picks are due by 9 a.m. PST on Wednesday, December 25.

Last year’s contests featured a $14 million, no rake prize guarantee. Highlights of the contest’s included a check presentation at the D Las Vegas which gave out $9.26 million split between four winners for Circa Survivor, and $1 million was taken home by the victor of Circa Million V.
