Ciao Vino Brings Social Italian To Boca Park
Ciao Vino, a social chic Italian restaurant, is opening on Monday, September 2, 2024. Located in popular Boca Park, the patio-centric meeting place will offer climate controlled outdoor and indoor bar and dining space with fine wine, cocktails, wood fired pizza and craveable Italian specialties.
Helmed by Chef de Cuisine Joel Myers (previously at Vetri Cucina and Osteria Fiorella) the kitchen will offer a selection of regional Italian specialties, from Ligurian coastal cuisine to Tuscan steaks, Roman-style pizzas, and house made pastas. Opening menu is set to include:
- A luxe Vitello Tonnato made with veal, bigeye tuna, Golden Osetra caviar, capers, and lemon
- Beef tartare with summer truffles
- Rotolo made with Taleggio, and Vidalia onions
- Farrotto (farro grain, risotto-style) with Australian prawns, citrus salad
- Squid Ink fettuccine made with Nduja, Dungeness crab, basil oil
- Diavola Pizza garnished with San Marzano tomato, salumi, Calabrian chili, oregano, basil
- Bistecca alla Fiorentina with Caesar butter, and grilled lemon
“We want to capture the vibe of those trattorias you see in every piazza in Italy. Friends relax, lovers celebrate, it’s a part of their lives” says Chef Myers. 
Curated by VP of Beverage Juan Martinez, the wine program will run the gamut from great daily drinkers to special bottlings. The redesigned 185 seat restaurant will now feature a covered patio with a state-of-the-art shade and misting systems, perfect for socializing and late dining. The remodeled dining room is light and airy with some modern accents, a dramatic wine feature, and open kitchen.
Ciao Vino will be open seven days a week from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. for drinks, Aperitivo hour (light bites and drinks) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and the full dinner menu will be served from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
