WHAT:     

Centric’s Soul Train Awards will return to the Orleans Arena Nov. 6 with singer-songwriter Erykah Badu hosting the highly-anticipated event. Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds will be presented with the “Legend Award,” honoring his career as a soloist and songwriter. Jill Scott, the singer-songwriter behind the platinum-selling receiving “Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1” will receive the first-ever “Lady of Soul Award.” The Weeknd, Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson all received five nominations, while Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Jidenna and Tyrese received four. The will air on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 8 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) on Centric and BET.
