Special Menus Announced for Thanksgiving Dinner, Holiday Parties
This holiday season, celebrate with friends, family or colleagues at Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar. The elegant restaurant will offer traditional holiday favorites and Italian authentic fare in a setting filled with holiday décor and the rich colors of burgundy and gold.
For Thanksgiving, the restaurant is offering its regular dinner menu, as well as a prix-fixe Thanksgiving menu. The latter includes a choice of pasta appetizer (mushroom risotto OR rigatoni pomodoro), choice of soup or salad (butternut squash or pasta fagioli soup or insalata casa), roast turkey with all the traditional trimmings—parmigiano mashed potatoes, rosemary gravy, sausage stuffing, Brussels sprouts and cranberry sauce—and a choice of pumpkin pie, pecan pie, cannoli or tiramisu for dessert. The price for this dine-in-only feast is $39.95 for adults and $14.95 for children under 12.
Ferraro’s makes a festive and impressive gathering place for family or corporate holiday gatherings. Three prix-fixe menus are offered from Dec. 1 through 24. The $40 dinner includes four courses consisting of a choice of pasta appetizer (penne Bolognese or penne pomodoro), cesare or insalata casa, choice of entrée (veal Marsala, salmone piccata with cherry tomatoes, petite filet mignon or pollo parmigiana) and dessert sampler. For $50, guests will enjoy a combination pasta-and-risotto appetizer, choice of salad and entrée and dessert sampler. The $60 option includes passed hors d’oeuvres (smoked salmon cucumber cups, meatballs, pizzette squares, mozzarella caprese and grissini), combination pasta-and-risotto appetizer, choice of salad and entrée (Ferraro’s famous osso buco is featured as one of the selections in this menu) and dessert sampler.
Everything at Ferraro’s is homemade and made to order, from the pasta to the desserts. Chef Mimmo Ferraro oversees the restaurant’s holiday menus, which are filled with signature dishes that showcase the beauty and simplicity of authentic Italian cuisine and the evocative potential of the freshest herbs and ingredients.
