Spend this Valentine’s Day enjoying a dinner just as spectacular as the view. Indulge in the extravagant five-course menu while admiring the 280-degree panoramic view of the Las Vegas Strip, inside Alizé at the Top of the Palms Casino.
Executive Chef Mark Purdy is creating a menu that exuding elegance with handcrafted courses and a decadent dessert duo made by wife and Alizé Corporate Pastry Chef Tammy Alana. The Valentine’s Day tasting menu will be available on Sunday, Feb. 14 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. and will feature:
Amuse Bouche
· Cucumber Panna Cotta, Tomato Confiture
First course, selections include:
· Chilled Foie Gras Terrine: Duck Confit and Bacon Jam Crepe, Balsamic Vinegar, Candied Pecans
· Porcini Mushrooms & Parmesan Bisque: Hazelnut Torchon with Cured Egg Yolk
· Greens & Herb Salad: Carrots, Cucumber, Tête de Moine Cheese, Lemon Shallot Vinaigrette
Second course, selections include:
· Prime Beef Carpaccio: Shaved Parmesan Cheese, Pickled Mustard Seeds, Green Pepper Aioli
· Seared Scallop: Cauliflower and n’duja Risotto, Maitake Mushroom
· Pumpkin Gnocchi Alla Romano: Braised Apples, Gruyere Cheese, Toasted Pepitas and Brioche Crumble
Third course, selections include:
· Filet of Beef: Braised Endive, Potato Purée, Baby Carrots, Cognac Cream Sauce
· Chicken Breast: Roasted Parsnips, Butternut Squash, Broccolini, Curry Chicken Jus
· Veal Wellington: Prosciutto, Mushrooms, Asparagus, Truffle Madeira Sauce
· Salmon Trio: Steamed, Seared, Smoked, Caviar Potato Purée, Juniper Beurre Blanc
· Pan Roasted Tempeh: Tofu Espuma, Soy Lacquer, Tomato Jus
Dessert Duo:
· Strawberry and Rose Sorbet with Champagne Bubbles
· Red Velvet Cheesecake with Raspberries and Amaretto Anglaise
