Cactus Park Elementary, the innovative new charter school featuring a curriculum centered around wellness, social identity, academic excellence, and civic engagement, has announced the completion of its school and farm expansion. A groundbreaking and innovative new public charter school located at 3115 Las Vegas Blvd N. in Las Vegas (the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Pecos Road), Cactus Park Elementary offers students a unique curriculum centered around social identity, academic excellence and civic engagement, including an on-campus farm, food pantry, cactus garden and more.

Featuring 350+ students for the 2024-2025 school year, the building expansion includes a spacious new multipurpose room and stage, a state-of-the-art science lab, a unique outdoor classroom, and modern kitchen to headline Cactus Park’s “Farm to School” food program, which will allow students to eat breakfast and lunch made with the fruits and vegetables that are grown on-site.

A unique feature since the school’s opening in 2022, the Cactus Park Farm has also been expanded to welcome 16 baby chicks and two goats to the Cactus Park family. A vital component to the Cactus Park curriculum, which utilizes the farm to not only educate students on agriculture and sustainability, but as a wellness stress reliever, the Cactus Park farm features an updated chicken coop, expanded goat run, hydroponics, and garden beds, which feature a native pollinator garden, herb garden, and compost.
