Sammy Hagar fans can get the party started with food, drinks and epic giveaways.
As Vegas prepares to rock out to Sammy Hagar’s sold-out performance at MGM Grand Garden Arena, Cabo Wabo Cantina, Hagar’s own Mexican restaurant and bar overlooking the Strip at Miracle Mile Shops, is gearing up to throw the ultimate concert pre-party from 2-6 p.m. on Friday, August 9. Bringing together Hagar’s devoted fans, known as “Redheads,” this celebration promises an unforgettable afternoon of food, drinks and exclusive giveaways, setting the stage for a rockin’ night. On Saturday, August 10, the party will continue with a 20% discount offer to concert-goers.
The pre-party, being held at The LOFT inside Cabo Wabo Cantina, will fuel up guests for an energetic night with plenty of tacos and margaritas to go around. Priced at $45 in advance or $50 at the door, tickets include an all-you-can-eat taco bar and one Santo tequila margarita. Prepared by Executive Chef Tacho Kneeland, the taco buffet will feature beef, chicken and carnitas tacos, corn and white flour tortillas and flavorful, house-made salsas and guacamole.
Alongside the flavorful fiesta, fans will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win prizes with each purchase of Hagar’s spirits or Red Rocker Lager. In addition to birthday bash tickets, prizes include autographed bottles of Sammy’s premium spirits and a signed guitar.
The Cabo Wabo celebration is not limited to the pre-concert party. Redheads who attend the concert can stop by the following day, Saturday, August 10, to receive 20% off their bill. Early birds can stop in for a post-concert breakfast with options inclusive of omelettes, french toast, pancakes and breakfast burritos. For those that partied a bit harder, the lunch and dinner menu is full of delectable authentic Mexican dishes like the Baja shrimp ceviche, fajitas, Sammy’s tequila shrimp and a variety of tacos.
