Merrin’s family moved to Las Vegas in 1956. Merrin’s dad, Dan Merrin was the Exec VP and Genenral Manager of the Flamingo Hotel, and attended the monthly owners meetings. Bruce went to John C Fremont Jr. High in Las Vegas, played on the Las Vegas Laundry Bombers Little League baseball team, and his best friend was Bob Miller, the future two term Governor of Nevada!!!!
Merrin graduated from the UCLA Film School. After working at MGM Studios for 1 year, he joined his mom’s legendary Hollywood PR Firm at General Service Studios. For 3 years he learned the business from his beloved mom. “I owe all my success to my mom. She is a blessing in my life,” states Merrin.
