Bruce Merrin Celebrity Speakers has booked Jerry Tarkanian For a personal appearance at Henderson Hyundai Superstore, 460 N. Boulder Highway, Friday, September 13, 5-7 p.m. The public is invited for this special Event “Tribute to TARK!”
Jerry Tarkanian was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Sept 8. He coached the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels 19 years, from 1973-1992. His teams were famous for their up tempo and aggressive style, captivating fans worldwide. His overall record is 509-105, an amazing .829 winning percentage. He led 4 teams to the NCAA Final 4, and his UNLV 1990 team won the National Championship! In that game UNLV trounced Duke 103-73!
Bruce Merrin’s Celebrity Speakers, headquartered in Las Vegas, is celebrating Its 40 year anniversary. They have booked Jerry Tarkanian for dozens of speaking engagements and personal appearances. Bruce also got the movie role for Tarkanian in “Honeymoon In Las Vegas” starring James Caan, Nicholas Cage and Sarah Jessica Parker. “Tark recently told me that his film appearance was an unforgettable experience that he treasures, and he has remained close friends with James Caan,” says Merrin.
Merrin booked the Henderson Hyundai Superstore appearance with Cole Cloninger, the VP at the auto dealership.
