The Spinners

For several decades, The Spinners have impressed fans with their soulful sounds. They continue to tour with original member Henry Fambrough who is joined by Lead Singer Charlton Washington, High Tenor Marvin Taylor, Tenor Ronnie Moss, Bass Singer Jessie Peck, and a soul-infused, five-piece band led by Keith Ferguson. Widely known as the greatest soul group of the early ‘70s, the group created a body of work that defined the lush, seductive sound of Philly soul. Ironically, the band was from Detroit where they originally formed as a doo-wop group during the late ‘50s. Throughout the ‘60s, The Spinners shifted to R&B and pop, and by the mid-60s, they had signed with Motown Records.

The Spinners later signed with Atlantic Records, releasing several chart-topping hits and went on to become one of the biggest soul groups of the 1970s. The band has released a string of hits, including “I’ll Be Around,” “Could It Be I’m Falling in Love,” “Mighty Love,” “One of A Kind (Love Affair),” “Then Came You,” “Games People Play” and more. In 1976, The Spinners received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999.

The Trammps Featuring Earl Young

Hailing from Philadelphia, disco and soul band The Trammps featuring Earl Young got their start in the early 1970s. Their popularity exploded in 1976 with the hit “Disco Inferno,” which earned them their first gold certification and became the disco party anthem of the ‘70s. The group has released multiple hits throughout the years, including “Zing Went The Strings Of My Heart,” “Hold Back the Night,” “The Night the Lights Went Out” and more.

Under the direction of Drummer and Bass Singer Earl Young, the group has performed their celebrated dance music for audiences across the world.
