Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada
Bringing Back Halloween Themed Bowling Tournament

A fun lead-up to Halloween, Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada is hosting the return of its Boo-A-Thon Bowling Tournament on Saturday Oct. 15 and Sunday Oct. 16, 2022 at the Santa Fe Station Bowling Center. Participants can choose from two sessions on Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon or 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday bowling is noon to 2 p.m.

“The Boo-A-Thon is a great company team-building activity that helps us raise needed funds in an entertaining way to support financial literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurial programs for more than 20,000 K-12 students,” said Michelle Jackson, president and CEO of the nonprofit Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada. “This event has always generated a lot of laughs for employee teams and also family and friend groups, and has been successful for Junior Achievement.”

Boo-A-Thon is a day of fun and festivities where participants can show off their bowling tricks and treats. Bowlers put together a five-person team and raise at least $100 per person from friends, family, neighbors, colleagues and acquaintances. Teams are encouraged to wear costumes for chances to win best team and individual costume prizes. Prizes also will be awarded for lane decoration, top individual bowler, and top individual and team fundraiser. Participants can purchase raffle tickets for more chances at winning prizes and bid on silent auction items.

Junior Achievement will provide all of the fundraising tools to help individuals and teammates reach and exceed donation goals. There is a $20 registration fee for all bowlers, which includes unlimited bowling for two hours, shoes, pizza, soda, and the chance to win fabulous prizes.

Bowlers can register their teams at https://bit.ly/BOO22. Once a team has registered, participants can create their individual and team fundraising pages.

Current sponsors are: Nevada State Bank, KPMG, Ernst & Young, Martin Harris Construction and

Bank of Nevada. Other sponsorship opportunities are also available, starting at $500. Visit Boo-A-Thon 2022 Sponsorships (qgiv.com) to see all options.
