Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken’s Smorgasbird has Returned, and It’s Making a BIG Entrance for a Good Cause
July’s Triple Decker Sandwich Features Fried Chicken Loaded with Pineapple, Bacon, Cheese, French Fries & BBQ Pulled Chicken
Grab a fork, knife and a lot of napkins because the Smorgasbird is here and it’s just as wild as last year. The giant sandwich is back once again starting July 1 and will be served at both Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken locations in Las Vegas for a limited time. As in previous years, $5 of proceeds from each sandwich will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society. Plus, lucky guests will also have a chance to receive exclusive “Smorgasbird” swag, available while supplies last.
The Smorgasbird lives up to its name by combining two classic Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken cutlets, caramelized pineapple, shredded lettuce, tomato, crunchy pickled cucumbers, Blue Ribbon special sauce, and, finally, Game Day Fries (fries with BBQ pulled chicken, aged cheddar, sour cream, smoked bacon, and pickled peppers) – all stuffed between two toasted buns.
Additionally, the colossal sandwich will be tempting guests with the opportunity to try the “Smorgasbird Challenge,” which dares them to devour the massive sandwich in under five minutes, share proof of their attempt on social media by tagging @BlueRibbonFC, #Smorgasbird, and finally, to invite one friend to take on the challenge themselves. All qualifying participants are entered in a contest to win a free Hail Mary Platter(25 wings, 25 chicken tenders, & one side) from Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken.
Guests can dine out for a cause with the return of the ultimate Smorgasbird sandwich. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society mobilizes people and resources so that everyone affected by multiple sclerosis can live their best lives and stop MS in its tracks, restore what has been lost and end MS forever.
The Smorgasbird will be available throughout July 31 for $16 at both Las Vegas locations including Grand Bazaar and Downtown Summerlin.
