Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens Unveils Magical World of Autumn Splendor with “The Garden of Time” Display Through November 9
Guests are invited to embark on a journey through a mythical forest as Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens unveils its new enchanting fall display, “The Garden of Time,” open now through November 9.
Imagined by designer Ed Libby and the talented Bellagio Horticulture team, the captivating display transports visitors through a portal into a fairytale-like realm of colorful fall flora and fauna, woodland creatures and fanciful sensory elements that together create a scene of pure magic. Each meticulously designed bed enhances the themes of timelessness, transformation and wonder, enriched by delightful melodies and the aroma of spiced apple cider.
“This display celebrates the changing of seasons with a breathtaking landscape that intertwines vibrant autumn hues with intricate, time-inspired designs,” said Libby. “We welcome guests to experience this artistic celebration of the beauty of nature in the fall and the inevitable passage of time.”
West Bed
The West Bed represents the heart of the forest, where time seems to stand still. On the left of the bed, a charming fairy treehouse is surrounded by twin waterfalls gracefully cascading into a tranquil pond below, while a detailed clock rests on the tree’s trunk. At the center of the scene, a wooden bridge leads to a rustic cottage draped with a crown of moss, which serves as the location of the exclusive Bellagio dining experience, The Garden Table. Dragonflies and fairies glide through the air as warm-hued botanicals and white pumpkins blanket the ground. Standing watch nearby is a majestic stag, intricately sculpted from driftwood.
North Bed
The North Bed transports guests into the heart of the Garden of Time, where vivid LED screens display abstract elements that draw them deeper into the enchanting landscape. A tranquil pond lies below two towering 27-foot-tall trees dressed in vibrant fall shades, offering protection to the garden’s creatures. A botanical pathway winds through the scene, guiding fairies into the autumnal forest. To the right of the bed, a striking driftwood sculpture of an elk surveys its surroundings, while fairies and dragonflies hover gracefully above.
East Bed
Illuminated by the golden glow of oversized lanterns, a pathway of gleaming turquoise stones guides guests through the East Bed towards the bounty of the fall forest. Deeper into the bed, an 18-foot-tall arbor emerges, serving as a gateway into a realm of natural beauty and wonder. Suspended from this intricately adorned masterpiece is a mystical timepiece, a reminder of the timeless luxury and elegance that endure through the changing seasons. Above, a four-foot-tall woodland owl, a symbol of wisdom and mystery, proudly perches atop the archway.
South Bed
The enthralling 36-foot-tall Tree of Time commands the South Bed as the hands of its magical clock symbolize the natural progression of life. Tucked within the green moss and ivy, an antique cottage sits before a glistening pond, awaiting the celestial woodland fairies flitting gracefully among the dragonflies overhead. Surrounding the bed are a symphony of vibrant flowers, botanicals and white pumpkins, positioned to evoke a sense of magic and mystery. Guests will encounter other creatures throughout the bed, such as deer and rabbit statues, artfully created with petrified wood.

Sustainability at the Conservatory
Water used in Bellagio’s Conservatory and Botanical Gardens comes from on-site underground wells that use rain and recycled water from the resort, avoiding the use of municipal potable water. The water in the Conservatory is also recycled throughout the exhibit and reused at the resort. Bellagio’s water conservation efforts are part of MGM Resort International’s overall sustainability commitment.
At the conclusion of each display, plants and botanical material without remaining viable life are separated for collection by a local composting facility. The organic waste is made into compost products to help improve the environment. This method of recycling keeps thousands of pounds of waste out of local landfills and turns it into something that improves the region’s soil, air and water quality.
Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is complimentary and open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To learn more, please visit Bellagio’s website.
