Bellagio Announces 2016 Lineup for
An Executive Chef’s Culinary Classroom
Bellagio Resort & Casino invites guests to perfect their culinary finesse at An Executive Chef’s Culinary Classroom, the resort’s popular cooking class series. During each session, Michael Burns, one of Bellagio’s skilled executive chefs and his team will take guests on a culinary journey to create coveted cuisine while sharing tips and teaching essential techniques along the way. Tuscany Kitchen, the AAA Five Diamond resort’s state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen, provides a quintessential learning environment for each interactive experience.
The 2016 series begins Friday, April 15 at 7 p.m.* and each class will be held quarterly throughout the year. Tickets are priced at $135 per person, all-inclusive, and can be purchased by calling Bellagio Concierge at 866-406-7117. Upon arrival, guests will find their personal station prepped with all ingredients and tools needed to create one to two planned courses, depending on the class format. Chef Burns will kick-off the lesson by welcoming his culinary students and providing a detailed overview of the evening’s menu. As the experience continues, Chef Burns will provide a step-by-step demonstration while assisting chefs rotate among the intimate 20-person class to offer support and guidance. Following the cooking portion, guests will have the opportunity to sit and indulge in their creations. To celebrate their culinary accomplishment, guests will receive a menu card featuring detailed instructions on how to recreate their experience at home.
Each class will feature a different menu specifically designed to satisfy a variety of culinary interests. The diverse 2016 schedule of culinary courses is as follows:
Spring Is In the Air: Friday, April 15
Those looking to refresh their culinary repertoire just in time for spring, can discover the perfect recipe for ahi tuna poke and the art of roasting a whole chicken with mouthwatering results at this seasonally inspired class.
Summer’s Harvest: Thursday, June 30
Guests will learn to make homemade ricotta with locally sourced honey and sustainably grown vegetables and greens. Local, light and healthy ingredients make just the right menu for the summer season.
Retro: Thursday, September 8
After taking this class, participants will feel like master chefs. Guests will have the opportunity to elevate their culinary skills to lavish new heights as they assist in creating two decadent classics: Lobster Bisque and Beef Wellington.
Thanksgiving Feast: Thursday, November 10
The pros will share secrets to making this year’s holiday feast the best yet at this festive class. Tips to keeping meat juicy and flavorful are just some of the tricks of the trade that are sure to impress at any family gathering.
