Losing an hour of sleep after Daylight Saving Time on Sunday, March 10, won’t feel like a loss at Borracha Mexican Cantina and Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca, located at Green Valley Ranch Spa and Casino in Henderson, as guests will be invited to enjoy brunch and delicious coffee-themed cocktails, available throughout March.
At Borracha, guests can wake up and fuel up with brunch on Saturday and Sunday, featuring the best of Mexican cuisine’s breakfast and lunch combinations. Some of the classics include a breakfast burrito with chorizo, eggs, potatoes, chipotle aioli, peppers and onions, priced at $17; a chorizo skillet with two eggs, chorizo, cotija cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, peppers and onions served over borracha potatoes, priced at $16; and chilaquiles with two eggs, corn tortilla chips, black beans, cotija cheese, avocado, cilantro and oven-roasted tomato arbol sauce, priced at $15. For those who need coffee to wake up, Borracha will offer an iced Mexican coffee made with tequila, Kahlua, coffee and chocolate bitters, priced at $16.
Guests can feel rejuvenated by waking up to an Italian-inspired brunch at Bottiglia on Saturday and Sunday. The featured breakfast offerings include an egg white scramble with sliced avocado and asparagus, priced at $16; a California eggs benedict with roasted tomato, rotisserie chicken, avocado and pesto, priced at $19; or a breakfast sandwich with cotto ham, fried eggs, Fontina cheese, pesto and crispy smoked prosciutto, priced at $18. The featured lunch offerings include king crab bucatini with king crab, zucchini, roasted tomatoes and Bottiglia’s signature lemon cream sauce, priced at $49; the filet, an 8-ounce prime tenderloin, served with arugula, parmigiano, cherry tomatoes and balsamic, priced at $59; or a prosciutto and mozzarella panini with fresh buffalo mozzarella, heirloom tomato, basil, balsamic, arugula and rustic bread, priced at $18. To up the caffeine intake, Bottiglia will offer the Spark Plug, an espresso martini featuring Absolut vanilla vodka, Kahlua and espresso, priced at $18.
