WHAT:
The “BATTLEBOTS: DESTRUCT-A-THON” premiere event took place on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at the BattleBots Arena near the Las Vegas Strip. The show’s cast, creators and robot stars walked the signature BattleBots Red and Blue Carpet, mirroring the red and blue teams that battle throughout the live show experience.

Special guests on opening night included robot combat stars from Team Hypershock, Team Whyachi and Team Whiplash as well as BattleBots TV judge Fon Davis, executive producer Tom Gutteridge, BattleBots co-founders Trey Roski and Greg Munson and live show hosts Bil Dwyer and Steve Judkins.
ABOUT BATTLEBOTS: DESTRUCT-A-THON
“BATTLEBOTS: DESTRUCT-A-THON” contains all the drama, action and destruction of the TV series, condensed into an intense, fast-moving, 75-minute theater show. With names such as Witch Doctor, Kraken, Mammoth, Hypershock, Ginsu, Malice, Nightmare, Overkill, Tazbot and Whiplash – the lineup also includes new robots created specifically for the live show. Las Vegas audiences will have the unparalleled chance to see new robots, Chopper and Diablo, before they are featured on the TV series.
