Barrett-Jackson to Auction Highly Desirable, One-of-One 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 in Las Vegas for Charity

Barrett-Jackson, The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, will help support Kristi House, a nonprofit dedicated to eradicating child abuse, with the charity auction of a 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 during its Las Vegas Auction, June 22-24. This limited-production vehicle will offer one generous bidder the chance to own a piece of automotive history as this Challenger features the first-ever 1,000-plus horsepower production HEMI engine. The winning bidder of this charity auction will be able to customize their Challenger from all available factory options, as well as the exclusive opportunity to select a custom exterior color, thus giving them the opportunity to make this truly a one-of-one vehicle.

“Providing a platform for awareness and charitable dollars has long been a foundational pillar for Barrett-Jackson,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “To date, we’ve helped raise more than $153 million for hundreds of deserving charities and their incredibly important initiatives over the years, and we’ve done so with many of the most desirable automobiles crossing the block. This charity auction represents a rare opportunity for enthusiasts to take ownership of Dodge’s final ‘Last Call’ model while also providing much needed support for American youth suffering from abuse. We’re proud to continue our charitable endeavors with the auction of this historic vehicle.”

The final Dodge “Last Call” special edition, the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170, is the most powerful of the group. Limited to just 3,000 orders in the U.S., this muscle car features the first-ever 1,000-plus horsepower production HEMI engine. Powered by its 6.2-liter V8 supercharged D170 engine, the world’s quickest 0-60 mph production car at 1.66 seconds also generates the highest G-force acceleration of any production car at 2.004 Gs. With customer orders having closed in May, the auction of this vehicle represents a rare opportunity to take ownership of a final special-edition Challenger.

Donated by Alan Potamkin, president of the Kristi House board, one-hundred percent of the hammer price of this 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 will benefit the Miami-based nonprofit. Founded in 1995, Kristi House is dedicated to eradicating child abuse and child sex trafficking by working nationally on solutions and locally to heal child-victims. The nonprofit provides an integrated solution for families navigating the complex services involved in the healing process and is responsible for coordinating child-victims’ legal, medical and social service needs while operating the only Children’s Advocacy Center in Miami-Dade County.

“I am deeply grateful to Barrett-Jackson for working with me to make this happen for Kristi House,” Potamkin said. “Kristi House is dedicated to healing child victims while also fighting to bring the perpetrators of these heinous crimes to justice in coordination with local police, the State Attorney and the court system. As primary therapist and case coordinator for 2,000 cases annually, all services are done at no cost to the families. Along with an amazing vehicle, the buyer will have the immense satisfaction of knowing they are helping to eradicate a scourge in our society that forever robs children of their innocence.”

“The auction of this special vehicle is about more than just owning a piece of iconic automotive history,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “This is an opportunity for the collector car hobby to come together and support many children in need. There is nothing more heartwarming than seeing the industry come together at Barrett-Jackson and make a real difference in the lives of those who need it the most. I can’t wait to share the excitement and positive energy this historic moment will represent when it crosses our auction block in Las Vegas later this month.”
