PT’s Taverns Hosts 11th Annual
Guinness ‘Perfect Pint Challenge’ with
Preliminary Rounds Starting in September
The longstanding event will crown another champion and pour complimentary beers
during the head-to-head finals in October, with $1,750 in combined cash prizes
PT’s Taverns will gather the neighborhood once again for the 11th annual Guinness Perfect Pint Challenge, a celebration of craftsmanship and camaraderie in which local bartenders from PT’s and across the valley will compete to pour the perfect pint of Guinness Draught Stout. Preliminary rounds of the thrilling event will begin on Saturday, Sept. 14 at PT’s Ranch located at 2430 E Pebble Rd. Bartenders who advance will go head-to-head during the finals in October, with the first-place winner receiving a cash prize of $1,000, second place receiving $500 and third place receiving $250.
A team of Guinness Brewery Ambassadors will judge each pour based on angle, settle and overall presentation of the iconic stout. Guests in attendance can cheer on their favorite bartender while enjoying complimentary and discounted brews. From 6 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, PT’s Ranch will serve complimentary pints of Guinness, followed by $4 pints for the duration of the event. Attendees can also test their own pouring skills at the mobile pint station from 7 to 10 p.m., as well as compete for superlative titles such as “Best Dressed” and “Best Spirit.” No matter how you pour your Guinness, remember to drink it responsibly.
