To Provide Holiday Meals With ace | PLAY Points

 
Arizona Charlie’s Casinos customers will have the opportunity to provide a holiday meal to those who might otherwise go without, when they contribute their ace | PLAY points during the holiday season.


Arizona Charlie’s will be having their 3rd Annual Feed a Family program which allows ace | PLAY members to contribute any amount of points by visiting the ace | PLAY Center at either Arizona Charlie’s Casino location between November 1, 2014 and December 15, 2014. Normally ace | PLAY points are redeemed by players for cash, comps and free play, but now they can use these same points to help feed a local family.
For every 12,000 points contributed, Arizona Charlie’s will give a box of food to the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA).  Their clients have an average annual income less than $11,000.

 

Points contributed between November 1 – 17, 2014 will be used for Thanksgiving food baskets.  Points contributed between November 18 – December 15, 2014 will be used for Christmas food baskets.

 

“The Feed a Family program has been a great success allowing our players and Arizona Charlie’s to provide hundreds of food boxes over the last couple years.” said Ron Lurie, Executive Vice President, General Manager Arizona Charlie’s Decatur. “It’s an opportunity that many of our players look forward to.”

 

“To understand that our players have earned these points and are now using them to help someone else makes us all feel good about the Feed a Family program,” said Mark Majetich, Senior Vice President, General Manager Arizona Charlie’s Boulder.
Last year, approximately 120 boxes of food were provided to SNRHA families. Arizona Charlie’s employees get together and pack each of the food boxes. SNRHA will pick up the food boxes from Arizona Charlie’s and distribute to clients.
Each box of food includes a traditional holiday meal – turkey, sides and dessert – sufficient to feed a family of at least four people.
