Andrew Feiler Studio Presents First Dual Collection to be on Display
at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum
‘Naturally Nevada’ and ‘The Wild World’ will be on display at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum now through March 31
Seasoned Las Vegas photographer, Andrew Feiler has put together an exclusive, limited-engagement fine art exhibit to be displayed down the front hallway of the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, now through the end of March.
Titled ‘Naturally Nevada’ and ‘The Wild World,’ the dual collection is the first public exhibit for Feiler and boasts creatures of local surroundings as well as landscapes and habitats from across the globe. Each photograph tells its own story, with some images taking as long as four days to capture the precise, single moment through the lens.
“As part of the educational footprint here in Las Vegas, we are excited to announce the works of Andrew Feiler Studio to our guests and community members while showcasing local talent and artistry,” said Las Vegas Natural History Museum Executive Director, Marilyn Gillespie. “Mr. Feiler’s attention to detail and stylistic technique captures the natural essences of various animals in their own habits, making his photography come to life.”
“It sill amazes me on the vast amount of birds, owls and wildlife we have here in our own backyard,” said Feiler. “I hope to share with visitors of the Museum a slice of what we have in our natural Nevada habitat including our own state animal, the Bighorn Sheep.” He said. “Some of my personal favorites such as Dive, Intention and Stare will also be on display for all to see. I am pleased that the Las Vegas Natural History Museum embraces new artists in the community,” he said.
Hailing from New York, Feiler began his career in commercial photography working with corporate clients including Johnson & Johnson, Kraft and others. After accepting a scholarship to attend the New York Film Academy to further his knowledge in the photography, film and art industries, Feiler went on to receive his undergraduate degree at the State University of New York, Purchase College. In 2000, he made a life-changing move to relocate to Las Vegas and start a family. Feiler has three children, a supportive wife and continues to nurture his passion for fine art photography all while staying inspired from the natural desert-like surroundings of the Las Vegas Valley.
