AMARI Italian Kitchen & Wine Shop, renown for its reimagined Italian-American cuisine, will proudly celebrate its one-year anniversary in August. Central to Southwest Las Vegas’ burgeoning dining scene, AMARI is located on the UnCommons campus across from the new Durango Casino & Resort.
In its first year, AMARI has received widespread acclaim. Among its accolades are Wine Spectator’s 2024 Award of Excellence and a top spot among Las Vegas’ top 100 restaurants by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The restaurant’s vibrant atmosphere, diverse and playful wine list and innovative menu have amassed a devoted following and have provided a foundation for AMARI to expand into new neighborhoods, with two additional locations in development now.

AMARI’s always-evolving menu, designed to showcase seasonal flavors and fresh ingredients, has several new additions. Highlights include tagliatelle pasta with summer truffle, leek crema and parmesan; pan-roasted halibut with fregola risotto, roasted tomatoes, pea tendrils, basil and lemon vinaigrette; and the spicy calabrese pizza with fontina, fior di latte, red onion, oregano and Calabrian honey. Guests can enjoy these Italian-inspired delights alongside cocktails like the fiore spritz, made with Gambini prosecco, grapefruit, Crème de Violetta, St. Germain and club soda; Italian brews such as Birra Moretti “L’Autentica”; or Italian and domestic wines from unique producers, like the 2016 Falezze Amarone Della Valpolicella, available only at AMARI.
To support its growth, AMARI has welcomed esteemed talent, Chef Alan Mardonovich, to its team as culinary director. With an illustrious career spanning the Las Vegas Strip’s most prestigious kitchens, Chef Mardonovich is deeply involved in supporting AMARI’s expansion.
AMARI spans 4,600 square feet between its restaurant, bar and outdoor patio, offering seating for 120 guests. The vibrant restaurant serves classic Italian cuisine including traditional pasta dishes, pizzas and more complemented by a diverse and playful wine list, Italian and local brews, and seasonal cocktails. AMARI is open for takeout, happy hour and dinner daily, with the retail and wine shop open during regular restaurant hours. AMARI also offers lunch from noon – 2:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
