Actor and Comedian Aziz Ansari Makes Aces of Comedy Debut at The Mirage May 3 – 4

The Mirage Hotel & Casino will welcome actor and comedian Aziz Ansari when he makes his Aces of Comedy debut May 3 – 4. Ansari, best known for his role as Tom Haverford on NBC’s series “Parks & Recreation” will take the Terry Fator Theatre stage at 10 p.m. each evening.

Ansari has earned critical praise for his role in NBC’s “Parks & Recreation” from media outlets including Entertainment Weekly, TV Guide and Yahoo! TV. Additionally, People Magazine named him 2011’s “Funniest Dude in Primetime.” In 2012, Ansari released his second hour-long stand-up special titled “Dangerously Delicious,” a follow-up to his debut special on COMEDY CENTRAL titled “Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening.” The actor also is keeping busy in the film world and will next appear in “This is the End,” alongside Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill and James Franco, scheduled to be released later this year.
Ansari began performing stand-up comedy in 2001 while attending New York University and continues to perform worldwide. He recently embarked on the multi-city “Buried Alive Tour.” After hosting the highly popular 2010 MTV Movie Awards, Ansari began making regular appearances on late-night television including “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
