On Wednesday, June 7, GRAMMY-nominated R&B heartthrob Bryson Tiller brought his “Back and I’m Better” tour to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas. Performing to a packed house of over 2,000 fans, Wednesday night’s performance marked Tiller’s second consecutive sold-out show at the Bowl.
The energy in the room palpable as the crowd waited in anticipation for Tiller to take the stage for his first tour in over six years. The stage was decked out with hi-definition LED screens – both as a backdrop and on the floor – with classic arcade games lining the sides, all projecting different visuals per song. Tiller stormed the stage, opening with hits like “Still Yours” and “Inhale,” while the entire venue was illuminated by the screens, setting the mood for Tiller’s signature trap flows that his fans know and love. As Tiller moved across the floor, the LED lights followed his footsteps, creating a multi-dimensional performance unlike anything he’s done before.
“My first time in Vegas was here at this very venue, I was just 22 years old,” said Tiller. “It’s so great to be back here. New energy, new crowd, new music.”
The Back and I’m Better set list delivered hit after hit like “Outside,” “Exchange” and “Let Em’ Know,” turning up the energy while maintaining the sexy and sultry vibes throughout the night. “We’ve been trying this on tour, let’s see if y’all know this one,” said Tiller as he performed a cover of Santana’s “Maria Maria” before breaking into his award-winning collaborative hit with DJ Khaled and Rihanna, “Wild Thoughts.” The crowd did not still once, continuously swaying to the beat of hits like “Playing Games,” and “Don’t.” Closing with chart-topper “Right My Wrongs,” the Bowl rang out with the sound of Tiller’s most dedicated fans singing the ballad word for word before erupting in cheers as the vocalist bid the crowd farewell with a bow.
