SNOWDROP FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES $125,000 AWARDED IN SCHOLARSHIPS TO
COLLEGE BOUND PEDIATRIC CANCER PATIENTS AND SURVIVORS.
Forty-two pediatric cancer patients and survivors from across the United States have been awarded college
scholarships through Snowdrop Foundation. This year’s scholarships totaled $125,000.
The scholarship program provides financial assistance to young adults as they move forward with their lives. This support helps empower young survivors & patients to achieve their educational, professional, and personal goals.
To qualify for a Snowdrop Scholarship, applicants must have been diagnosed with cancer before the age of 19. The application is open to all childhood cancer survivors and current patients who currently attend or plan to attend an institution of higher education in the United States. The scholarships are applied for annually and applicants can apply every year they are enrolled in school.
“In the six years Snowdrop Foundation scholarship program has existed we have we have awarded 76 scholarships totaling $365,000. We have seen the positive impact it has had on these wonderful young adults. Not only does it provide financial support but , it offers a chance for survivors to go to college and pursue their dreams.” states Snowdrop president and founder Kevin Kline.

Kevin Kline-
Well known on the Houston radio scene, Kevin Kline is the president and
founder of Snowdrop Foundation, which supports cutting edge work in
pediatric cancer research and awards college scholarships to pediatric
cancer patients and childhood cancer survivors.
Some of Kline’s Achievements Include:
43 marathons and ultra-marathons over five years in 22 states as well
as on 3 continents
482 mile solo run across Texas in 13 days which raised over $200,000.
Kline is the subject of the award winning documentary Dear Chelsey based

Ran 24 continuous hours on a treadmill then another 13.1 miles into
the Texas Children’s Cancer Center; for a total of 90.15 miles
Ran 100K (62 miles) a day for 7 consecutive days.
Kline has been recognized by Runner’s World Magazine, GQ Magazine, and
People Magazine. He has received awards from Children’s Miracle Network
and was recently inducted into the Energizer Keep Going Hall of Fame. He
also was featured on CNN.
