All In Aviation Debuts 3-Day Instrument Ground School Program at Henderson Executive Airport Location
Registration open now for first instruction class scheduled for January 28-30, 2022
All In Aviation (AIA) announces the launch of a 3-day instrument ground school program at its Henderson Executive Airport facility, with the first instruction class scheduled for Friday, January 28 through Sunday, January 30, 2022.
To fly in limited visibility conditions, private pilots must have an instrument rating certification. As an extension of AIA’s private pilot ground school launched in April of 2021, the instrument rating course is designed to guide students through the next progression as a private pilot and easily transition from navigating with visual flight rules to instrument flight rules.
Following private pilot airman certification standards (ACS), the course helps prepare students to pass the FAA Instrument Rating Airplane knowledge exam and expose them to the content that will be on an Instrument rating practical test. The course will cover pilot qualifications; recency and currency; human factors; instrument systems; instrument flying; navigation systems; departure, arrival and holding procedures; approaches; IFR flight planning; clearances; communications, and more.
Priced at $599, the 3-day course runs Friday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be offered approximately every 8 weeks based on demand. The price of the course includes low enroute charts and pilot café, with students required to purchase the ForeFlight app separately. All In Aviation also offers private pilot ground school every 6-8 weeks. Students may register for private pilot or instrument rating courses by emailing [email protected] or calling (702) ALL-IN22.
“Since launching our 3-day private pilot ground school earlier this year, we’ve seen a big demand to develop the same style course for instrument rating instruction. We’ve educated students from all over the country at our ground school, who are now ready to take the next step as a pilot,” said Paul Sallach, president of All In Aviation.
Dedicated to growing and developing more pilots, All In Aviation offers flight training with most pilots certified after completing 60-70 hours of training. Pilot training is conducted in the air, in a classroom setting, and in All In Aviation’s full-motion Cirrus Aircraft simulator – one of only two in existence. All In Aviation’s comprehensive flight training services include: Commercial & Private Pilot Training, Instrument Rating Training, Cirrus Transition Training, Basic and Advanced Transition Training, Avionics Differences Transition, Recurrent Training, Airframe and Powerplant Differences Transition Training, and a 3-day fast-track ground school program.
In 2020, All In Aviation opened the first purpose-built, multi-use aviation facility of its kind at Southern Nevada’s Henderson Executive Airport, along with maintenance partner Lone Mountain Aviation. Located directly across from the Raiders headquarters, the complex includes 9,000 square feet of office space, a premier retail shop for pilots, five training rooms, an avionics workshop, a parts department, and a 16-person conference room overlooking a 22,000 square-foot maintenance hangar. The customer lounge features sweeping mountain views framed by a taxiway of 25 aircraft storage hangars – 16 “T” hangars for small personal aircraft and 9 box hangars for mid-size business jets.
