LAS VEGAS GREAT SANTA RUN ANNOUNCES 2021 GRAND MARSHAL
Chippendales, the hottest male revue show in Vegas, returns to the
Las Vegas Great Santa Run as official Grand Marshal
Opportunity Village is proud to announce that long-time partner, Chippendales, will be Grand Marshal for the 2021 Las Vegas Great Santa Run on Saturday, December 4th!
The male revue has been a staple at Opportunity Village’s signature events for nearly 10 years, serving as both 1-Mile Marshal and entertainment at the jolly fun-run. In their new, elevated role at the event, Chippendales will be the face of the Las Vegas Great Santa Run.
“Escorting Mayor Goodman at the Great Santa Run is an event our cast at Chippendales looks forward to every year,” said Katerina Tabakhov, Director of Operations at Chippendales. “The work OV does in providing people with disabilities enrichment, empowerment, and employment opportunities is incredible and, for our cast to be acknowledged this year as the Grand Marshal for the Great Santa Run is truly an honor that is going to make this year’s event even more special for all of us at Chippendales.”
The Las Vegas Great Santa Run, presented by Circle K, features a 5k and 1-mile course where thousands of registrants decked out in Santa suits run or walk to support people with disabilities at Opportunity Village. Race day will feature three unique stages featuring a variety of entertainment partners. The stages will be emceed by Jason Feinberg and Alyssa Deitsch of FOX5 (Third Street Stage), John Katsilometes of the Las Vegas Review-Journal (Starting Line Stage), and AJ of Sunny 106.5 with MoJoe of 95.5 The Bull (After-Party Stage).

The 17th year offers both an in-person and virtual option for supporters who are not able to be there in person. The in-person race takes place in Downtown Las Vegas and registrants will receive a 5-piece Santa suit, medal, swag bag, race bib, and more. Pets are always welcome to join in the fun – simply sign them up when you register yourself and they will receive a special goodie bag of their own!
In-Person race day festivities kick off with a fun-filled pre-show at the Fremont Street Experience beginning at 8 a.m. From there, you will take on the 5k or 1-mile course, and cross the finish line into the Llama Lot for the after-party featuring a variety of food trucks, vendors, and live entertainment!

Seven families who were determined to give their children with disabilities the best lives possible founded Opportunity Village in 1954. Now, more than six decades later, Opportunity Village is one of the most recognized and respected organizations of its type in the United States.
Nevada’s largest employer of people with disabilities, Opportunity Village serves over 3,000 individuals annually, providing vocational training, employment, habilitation and social recreation programs and services that improve their lives.
People supported in Opportunity Village’s Prevocational Training Programs and in jobs provided by the organization throughout the community, have collectively earned wages amounting to more than $3.7 million in 2020. They are hardworking and diligent, proudly paying taxes and happily leading fulfilling lives.
Primarily a self-funded organization, Opportunity Village generates the majority of its operational funding through its employment contracts, multiple business lines, fundraising efforts such as the Magical Forest and Great Santa Run, and grants on the federal and state level, saving Nevada taxpayers more than $37 million annually.
