Boyd Gaming Makes the Season of Giving Brighter
with Seventh Annual ‘Wreaths of Hope’ Competition
Nearly $65,000 prize pool to benefit 34 southern Nevada charities

Boyd Gaming is celebrating the season of giving with its seventh annual holiday competition, “Wreaths of Hope.” A total of 34 local charities will compete in one of Las Vegas’ favorite holiday traditions, as Boyd Gaming awards a prize pool of nearly $65,000 to non-profit organizations across the Valley.

Local non-profit organizations will decorate wreaths in the spirit of their organization that will be displayed at seven Boyd Gaming destinations: Aliante, The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Sam’s Town, Cannery and Main Street Station. For the first time, the competition will also welcome some of Las Vegas’ favorite sports teams to participate in Wreaths of Hope, including the Las Vegas Aviators, Henderson Silver Knights, Las Vegas Raiders and UNLV Athletics. The sports teams will compete at The Orleans and prizes will benefit their respective charitable foundations.

Beginning Monday, November 22 through Friday, December 17, the public is invited to vote for their favorite charity’s decorated wreath at each participating property, or online via Boyd Gaming social media platforms or by visiting BoydGaming.com/Wreaths-of-Hope. The seven Las Vegas properties will each award an $8,500 prize pool to participating charities with a first-place prize of $3,000 and a guaranteed minimum cash prize of $1,000 for all participants. Winners will be decided by public vote at each destination. A B Connected player’s card account is required to vote on property.

The citywide competition will also include a social media contest that will award an additional prize pool of $5,000 to southern Nevada’s top three performing charities with a $2,500 first-place prize, $1,500 second-place prize and $1,000 third-place prize.
