Mike Tyson Unveils Statue at Mulberry Street Pizzeria inside Resorts World Las Vegas
Last night, Richie Palmer’s Mulberry Street Pizzeria at Resorts World Las Vegas unveiled a commemorative statue of one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time – Mike Tyson. The 10-foot-tall statue is located just outside of the entrance of Mulberry Street Pizzeria.
Resorts World President Scott Sibella kicked off the unveiling ceremony by welcoming guests and commenting on how thrilled the team is to celebrate Mike Tyson with the statue and welcome Mulberry Street Pizzeria to the property. Mulberry Street Pizzeria owner and founder Richie Palmer then praised Tyson as the greatest heavyweight of all time and welcomed his longtime friend to the stage to say a few words. Tyson thanked Sibella, Palmer, and the crowd before removing the cover from his statue.
Following the unveiling, Tyson, Palmer, and Sibella posed for pictures before Tyson signed the wall of Mulberry Street Pizzeria and enjoyed a slice of pizza with Palmer. Guests then enjoyed the restaurant’s iconic pizza, cocktails made with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Teremana Tequila, cookies, and beer and wine.
