Just in time for the holiday season, the beloved Streetmosphere cast will enhance their renowned show with Italian versions of holiday classics performed in an all-new way, festive costuming, immersive technology, and more

 

The holidays are among us, and there is no better way to celebrate than with the internationally renowned Streetmosphere cast at Grand Canal Shoppes inside The Venetian® Resort. Starting Friday, Nov. 12 at 6 p.m., guests will be transported to a holiday Italian ‘vacanze’ every weekend as they make their way down the Venice-inspired, enchanted cobblestone streets, to experience the all-new “Holiday Spectacular” provided by the Streetmosphere cast in St. Mark’s Square.

 

The cherished complimentary entertainment offering, known for its beauty inspired by the Renaissance period, will embellish the famed Streetmosphere show for the winter season with unique renditions of traditional holiday carols mixed with contemporary rhythms and sung in Italian. The harmonious Pop Opera singers will be accompanied by a talented team of live musicians and adorned with couture-inspired festive costuming. After enjoying the holiday inspired melodic sounds, guests will have the opportunity to take stunning photos with the cast as they meet guests and hand out sweet treats for those who would like to indulge.

 

Adding even more to the spectacular affair will be a magnificent digital show that will illuminate the Clock Tower that sits in the center of St. Mark’s Square. The majestic light performance will use advanced technology and digital mapping to magically bring the square to life in a new and exciting way. The unique experience will leave guests awe-struck with vibrant dancing lights, sweet sounds, and plenty of holiday spirit during the one-of-a-kind show that can only be found at The Shoppes.

 

In order to create this magical holiday experience for guests of all ages to enjoy, The Shoppes partnered with BESTAgency, a local creative agency specializing in events and entertainment, and Lumen & Forge, a local immersive technology company with expertise in augmented reality (AR) and projection mapping to develop the enhanced Streetmosphere “Holiday Spectacular” and digital show.

The Streetmosphere holiday spectacular will launch Friday, Nov. 12, and will continue every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout November and December at 6 p.m. in St. Mark’s Square. Additional Streetmosphere entertainment can be found daily in St. Mark’s Square at 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. as well as near Grimaldi’s at 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
